ASEAN, UNWTO delegates experience their ‘first’ ATV tour in Legazpi City

(Legazpi City, Albay)—The uniqueness of Albay province has once again mesmerized its foreign visitors as foreign delegates of the ASEAN and the UNWTO experienced their many firsts, such as riding an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), seeing in full view the perfectly cone-shaped Mayon Volcano, and eating Bicol region’s delectable Pili.

In Legazpi City, Mayor Noel E. Rosal is relentless in constructing world-class infrastructures, like the Legazpi Boulevard, Ligñon Hill Nature Park, LKY Grand Terminal, which compel tourists to visit. He also encourages local businessmen to partner with the city’s programs and share his vision in tagging Legazpi as one of the premier tourist destinations in the country, and in the world.

Legazpi City, Albay--A cultural feast filled with vibrant colors and melodious music summed up the recent celebration of Mayor’s Night to welcome foreign delegates of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), who are currently visiting the province of Albay where the Meeting of the ASEAN, Plus 3 National Tourism Organizations (NTO) was held from May-15-17, 2014.

In attendance were around 300 ASEAN delegates, tourism industry players, along with local government executives led by Mayor Noel E. Rosal, and guests. All of whom arrived in traditional Filipino attire, with the ladies conservatively dressed in Filipiñana and the men clad in their courtly Barong Tagalog.

Mayor Rosal, in his opening remarks, shared the significant celebration of barrio fiesta, harmony among people, and a country towards a productive partnership. He spearheaded the Mayor’s Night celebration, hosted by the City Government of Legazpi.

Legazpi City, Albay--Bicol region’s first largest shopping center Pacific Mall Legazpi is taking the spotlight in retail industry as the mall’s top management reveals its nomination for candidacy in this year’s Shopping Mall of the Year of the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Anchored by Metro Gaisano Store and Supermarket, the 2-hectare complex provides utmost shopping, dining and entertainment to Bicolano mall-goers. Pacific Mall Legazpi is also home to numerous Manila-based tenants and local shops that are pegged at over 250 as of press time.

Since opening its door in November 2001, Pacific Mall has played a major part in shaping the lives of the Bicolanos. Legazpi City welcomes some 3,000 prosecutors and guests of PLP

Legazpi City, Albay—Legazpi City in the province of Albay recently welcomed some 3,000 prosecutorsand guests of theProsecutors League of the Philippines in the length of the conduct of their 26th National Convention and 13th National Convention in this city at the Oriental Hotel from April 22 to 24.

In this warm welcome, Mayor Noel E. Rosal wished the organization to have a productive gathering, and encourage its members to experience the City of Fun and Adventure. He also  hoped that, through this convention, officers and member of the PLP continue to be stewards of speedy justice without jeaopardizing the due process of law in the investigation and procsecution of crimes. Also, the chief executive commend the prosecutors as vital clogs in the Five Pillars of Justice.
